Well, I made it through Day Two of the new job. So far so good. After 10+ years with the same company going to a new one is pretty daunting. I sat in a meeting today where I was lucky if I understood about 50% of what was said. Now I know English "pretty goodly" but what was said was gibberish to me. Because I was unable to keep up, my mind started to wander; I decided I would start keeping track of the acronyms that were used. In one sentence a speaker used more acronyms than actual words; I was completely lost! I'm sure I'll pick it up soon, until then I am just shaking my head with a thoughtful, positive look on my face that says to the speaker, "I know exactly what you are saying and I wholeheartedly agree with you."
I went out on Saturday night with a friend and went bowling, something I have not done in probably 6 months. Now I should tell you I am not much of a bowler, but my first game I bowled a 204! Not sure how I did it and things went downhill after that, it might have had something to do with the Miller Lights, but who knows for sure?
Lucy has not been pleased with the new routine. We both got very used to me being home a lot. She's been sticking to me like glue the last two nights with a constant need for attention; in reality this is not much different than usual. Below I included a new picture of Lucy trying to look tough with her bone. I'm not sure but it might have intentionally been directed at me because of the new work schedule.

Don't Mess With Me, Get Your Own Bone
Adios Amigos....
