Fun in SD - Part II

We had a beautiful day to explore Custer State Park and Mount Rushmore. The day was perfect, lots of sun and gorgeous landscapes. The rocks are fascinating and against the blue sky made some cool picts. We saw a lot of animals on our trip on Wednesday. Here's a list of the cast of characters we met:

1. Burrito the Burro, he stops traffic looking for a morsel of something or other and he has no problem sticking his head in the car to look for something yummy.
2. A lot of majestic bison/buffalo.An extremely fat prairie dog that LOVES ginger snaps.
3. Chipmunks by the dozens (I've included a picture I took of them, very cute).
4. Curious antelope that like their picture taken.
5. We also so a lot of deer, unfortunately most of these were at night near the road.
6. Dodger, the cricket, the cousin of Roger. whom we met on Sunday in the badlands.

I know I keep saying it, but I'm definitely having a good time exploring SD; lots to take pictures of. Today we are headed to the Devil's Tower in Wyoming.
